What is SaferHome.ai?

SaferHome.ai is an AI-powered home Fortification intelligence platform. We analyze your property's structure, generate a proprietary Home Fortification Score, and deliver a personalized Fortification Report with a clear, prioritized Upgrade Plan so you know exactly what to do to make your home stronger and more insurable.

How is SaferHome.ai different from a regular home inspection?

A traditional inspection gives you a snapshot of current conditions. SaferHome.ai goes further — we perform a data-informed Structural Assessment, assign your home a Home Fortification Score, and then guide you step-by-step through an Upgrade Plan to actually improve that score over time. We also help you connect with verified contractors, access Florida grant and loan options, and submit your OIR wind mitigation report.

Is SaferHome.ai only available in Florida?

We are currently focused on Florida, with early coverage in Pinellas County and surrounding areas. We're expanding our Jurisdiction Coverage rapidly — sign up to be notified when SaferHome.ai comes to your area.

Your Home Fortification Score

What is a Home Fortification Score?

Your Home Fortification Score is our proprietary metric that measures how well your home is prepared against structural and environmental threats — especially wind and storm events. It's derived from multiple verified data streams and updated as you complete upgrades and document them through the platform.

How do I improve my score?

Your Upgrade Plan lays out a prioritized list of Fortification improvements, each with estimated effort and investment ranges. As you complete upgrades and submit photo documentation through the app, SaferHome.ai validates your work and updates your score accordingly. Your Fortification Report is then refreshed to reflect your home's improved status.

Can I dispute my score?

Yes. If you believe your Home Fortification Score doesn't accurately reflect your property's condition, contact our Customer Success team and we'll initiate a formal review with our Data team. We do not allow manual score adjustments — all reviews go through our validated scoring process to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Insurance & savings

Will SaferHome.ai lower my insurance premiums?

We can't guarantee specific premium outcomes — that's between you and your insurer. What we do is arm you with a completed, validated Fortification Report and an up-to-date wind mitigation report (OIR-B1-1802) that you can present to your insurance carrier. Many Florida homeowners who complete Fortification upgrades qualify for discounts under Florida OIC guidelines. The documentation is yours to use.

What is the OIR wind mitigation report and how does SaferHome.ai help with it?

The OIR-B1-1802 is Florida's official wind mitigation inspection form (updated April 2026). It documents your home's storm-resistance features and is submitted to your insurance carrier to unlock potential discounts. SaferHome.ai manages the entire process — dispatching a licensed inspector, collecting documentation, and helping you submit the completed report with a single tap.

Does SaferHome.ai read my insurance policy?

Yes — our platform can analyze your policy to surface discounts you may already qualify for but haven't claimed. This is a homeowner-facing tool: we surface the information for you to act on. SaferHome.ai does not communicate with or submit documentation to your insurance provider on your behalf.

Is SaferHome.ai free to use?

Yes — we offer free access at two levels. Free Basic gives you entry-level property data and basic Fortification indicators. Free Standard expands your data access for more informed decision-making. For the full experience — including your complete Fortification Report and personalized Upgrade Plan — our Member and Concierge plans are available at annual rates.

Do you have plans for real estate and insurance professionals?

Yes. Our Professional tier is designed for contractors, inspectors, real estate professionals, and insurance agents. Team plans are priced per user per month — ideal for small to mid-size firms. Organization plans offer a flat monthly rate with enterprise-grade access for larger agencies. Contact us to discuss which plan fits your workflow.

Do you work with municipalities and government agencies?

Yes. Our Government & Institutional tier is built for municipalities, counties, and state and federal agencies managing Fortification outcomes at scale. Jurisdiction plans are priced annually per structure and can span an entire jurisdiction — from a single city to a federal portfolio. All Government tier agreements are subject to legal review before execution.

How does SaferHome.ai find contractors?

We connect you with verified contractors who specialize in Fortification upgrades — roof hardening, impact windows, door reinforcement, and more. Contractors in our network are vetted and matched to your specific Upgrade Plan, so you're not starting from scratch with a general search.

Are there grants or financing options available?

Yes. Florida has a number of grant programs and home loan options specifically for Fortification upgrades. SaferHome.ai surfaces relevant programs based on your property, location, and Upgrade Plan — so you can fund improvements without relying solely on out-of-pocket costs.

Can SaferHome.ai help me sell my home?

We can connect you with local real estate agents who have a track record of successfully selling Fortified homes with scores similar to yours. A strong Home Fortification Score is increasingly meaningful to Florida buyers — having the documentation to back it up can be a genuine differentiator in your listing.

Privacy & data

How does SaferHome.ai handle my property data?

Property data is tied to addresses, not individual identities, wherever possible. We do not share your data with third parties without your explicit consent. All data handling practices are governed by our privacy policy and, for Government tier clients, by additional jurisdiction-specific data agreements.
